Merino comfort and performance with an anatomic cycling specific fit.
Merino wool is an ace material to use for cycle clothing. But do not get Merino confused with those itchy wool jumpers that your Nan used to knit, Merino wool is soft and silky to wear.
Merino sheep can be found in the Southern Alps of New Zealand where the weather can be extreme and varied, in conditions where regular sheep just wouldn’t survive. Merino wool is perfect for these extreme conditions; it is breathable in the summer, insulating in the winter even when it’s wet and it is soft and lightweight. What’s more it is naturally odour resistant. This is what also makes it perfect for use in cycle clothing.
The use of Merino Wool makes the socks soft feeling and itch-free, naturally odour resistant with a high warmth to weight ratio even when wet. The cut is designed with cycling in mind to maximise comfort; they are seam free to cut out any irritating rubs, reinforced at the heel and toe for added durability and the arch support helps keep everything just where it needs to be. What’s more they are machine washable.
